Sultans' Portraits


The Panorama 1453 History Museum, which brings the Conquest of Istanbul to life through panoramic images, sound, and drawings, also presents visitors with a chronological selection through the Sultans' Portraits exhibition located at the museum entrance and on the -1st floor.


Starting with Osman Gazi, the founder and first Sultan of the Ottoman Empire, the exhibition features portraits of 36 sultans who ascended the throne during the establishment, rise, and final period of the Ottoman Empire, including the last Sultan, Sultan Vahdettin.
