The Ottoman Empire has never employed an imperialist mindset. I personally think that amicability, fraternity and culture of living together in peace in the Balkans are a heritage from the Ottoman. Today, conveying this heritage to the future among the local community and handing down not fights and wars but peace to next generations are our greatest desire."
